FRANKLINTON, NC-- Annette Wood Hudson Carpenter, 69, of Franklinton, died at home July 30, 2023. She was born on September 30, 1953, to the late Howard and Lillian Williams Hudson.

Annette is survived by her husband of 54 years, Sam Junior "Buck" Carpenter; her children, Diane Rowe (Mark), David Carpenter (Wendy Ferrell), Marie Layton (Keith), and Barry Carpenter (Kristen); nine grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m., Monday, August 7, at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. Franklinton, with the Rev. Doug Moore officiating.
