Louisburg, NC--Glenn Randel Barefoot Sr., 85, of Louisburg died Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home. He was born on January 30, 1938 to the late Leo and Octavia Register Barefoot. In addition to his parents Glenn was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Emogene Barefoot; his son, Glenn "Randy" Barefoot, Jr.; and daughters, Sharon Burnworth and Donna Beachy.

Glenn is survived by his daughters, Lois Murray (Donald), Linda Marshall; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; his son-in-law, Dane Burnworth; his brothers, Floyd Barefoot and Gerald Barefoot; and his sisters, Edith Sasser and Iris Costin.

The family will receive friends 1 - 1:45 p.m., Friday, August 11, at Asher Glade Church of the Brethren in Friendsville, MD where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with Reverend Michael Saturday officiating. Burial will follow in Asher Glade Cemetery.
