Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for George Lee "Dick" Davis, age 93, who died on Sunday, August 13, 2023 will be held 1 p.m., Friday, August 18, from the Rowland Chapel Christian Church in Henderson with Pastor Ronald Regular officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowland Chapel Church Cemetery.

Born January 25, 1930, he is survived by his wife, Hettie A. Davis of the home; five daughters, Linda Wingfield (Mario) of Richmond, VA, Phyllis Williams, Shirley Strickland, Stella Hayes (Maryland) and Deborah Pettiford, all of Louisburg, NC; two sons, George T. Davis (Yvonne) of Henderson, NC, Charles Davis (Jean) of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be 12 - 1 p.m., Friday, at Rowland Chapel Christian Church.
