Kittrell, NC--Funeral services for Andrew "Slick" Jones Jr., age 79, who died on Sunday, September 3, 2023, will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, September 9, from the Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton with Rev. Priscilla Egerton Massenburg officiating.

Born Nov. 28, 1943, he is survived by three daughters, Thelma Blair and Amy Jones, both of Richmond, VA, Mitsie Robinson of Middletown, DE; four sons, Apostle Andrew Jackson, III (Denise) of Tappahannock, VA, Anthony Spence (Kanti) of Miramar, FL, La'Vert Jones (Janisha) of Colonial Heights, VA, Antron Fogg of Franklinton, NC; one sister, Bessie Dunston of Franklinton, NC; one brother, Buddy Jones of Youngsville, NC; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be 2 - 3 p.m., Saturday at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton.
