Bronx, NY--Funeral services for Jerome "John" Davis, Sr., age 85, of Bronx, NY, formerly of Louisburg, who died on Wednesday, September, 6, 2023, will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21, from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the Mary Helen Jones Cemetery.

Born May 26, 1938, he is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Davis and Jean Davis, both of Bronx, NY, Brenda Watkins of McDonough, GA; one son Jerome Davis, Jr. of Bronx, NY; three sisters, Katie Arrington, Mary Thorpe, Brenda Ferrell (Raymond); two brothers, J. B. Johnson (Mary) and Larry Johnson, all of Louisburg, NC; fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Viewing will be 1-2 p.m., Thursday, September 21, at Richardson Funeral Home.
