LOUISBURG, NC--Edward T. Lyons, age 79, of Louisburg, died Friday, September 1, 2023.

Funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 15, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Visitation was 10:30 - 11 a.m., prior to the service. Interment is in Carolina Biblical Gardens.

Survivors; wife, Nadine Lyons; children, Edward W. Lyons, Marcus L. Campbell and Janine F. Wright (Michael); three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Johnson, Dorothy Lyons, Bertha Wilson (Pat), Rosalyn L. Massenburg (Sam), Lillie Mulligan, Rose Marie Moore (Robert), Arvette Walker (Clifton) and Steven D. Lyons; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Garett Lyons.
