Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Louis Williams, age 83, who died on Sunday, October 8, 2023, will be held 1 p.m., Friday, October 13 from the Haywood Baptist Church in Louisburg with Rev. Rachel Drumgold presiding and Rev. Michael Alston eulogist. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church Cemetery.

Born April 5, 1940, he is survived by one daughter, Teresa Ann Williams of Wake Forest, NC; four sons, David Alston (Gayle) of Hampton, VA, Lewis Williams (Barbara) of Macon, GA, Douglas Williams (Pamela) of Louisburg, NC, Sheldon Williams of Goldsboro, NC; one sister, Katie Nunn of Henderson, NC; four brothers, Sam Williams of New York, NY, Fred Williams of Petersburg, VA, Eddie Roy Williams of Raleigh, NC, David Williams of Bronx, NY; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Viewing is 6-7 p.m., Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home. The family is receiving friends this week at the home of his son, Douglas Williams, 534 T. K. Allen Road, Louisburg.
