LOUISBURG, NC --Helen Montague Wadford, 67, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023, after an extended illness.

She was born April 26, 1956 in Raleigh, NC, the daughter of the late Pete and Frances Montague.

Helen is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ricky; her daughter, Tina (Greg) Smith of Louisburg; step-son, Chris Wadford of Youngsville; her brother, Paul (Pam) Montague of Youngsville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one soon-to-be grandchild; two Godchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main Street, Wake Forest.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26 at Richland Creek Community Church, 3229 Burlington Mills Road, Wake Forest. Burial will immediately follow at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest.
