Centerville, NC--Funeral services for Vernell Wright, age 72, who died on Saturday, November 11, 2023, will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, November 18, from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Apostle C. A. Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Gupton Family Cemetery.

Born March 23, 1951, she is survived by two daughters, Stephney Smith (George) of Zebulon, NC, Monique Wright of Raleigh, NC; one son, Tony Wright, Jr. of Kittrell, NC; one sister, Janet Gupton of Alexandria, VA; one brother, Ernest Clay Gupton (Margie) of Centerville, NC; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m., Friday at Richardson Funeral Home.
