Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Sylvester "Bud" Harris, age 85, who died on Monday, January 1, 2024, will be held on Monday, January 8, at 12 p.m. from the Nelson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg with Pastor Micah Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Chapel Church Cemetery.

Born October 28, 1938, he is survived by his wife, Vernice Richardson Harris of the home; two daughters, Wilhelmina "Candy" Bowens of Louisburg, NC, Bertina Harris of Greenville, NC; two sons, Sylvester Harris, Jr. of Norcross, GA, Jordan Clifton Harris, III (Maya) of Louisburg, NC; one sister, Bessie Harris of Decatur, GA; one brother, Theodric Harris (Shirley) of Hampton Square, NJ; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 - 5 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
