LOUISBURG, NC--Bonnie Jean Ferguson Wood, 88, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning, March 3, 2024. Bonnie was born July 2, 1935 in Franklin County and was the daughter of the late J.H. (Jack) Ferguson and Florence Woodlief Ferguson.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold V. Wood; brothers, John Ferguson of Louisburg, Bervin Ferguson (twin) of Louisburg, Charlie Fergerson of Durham, Samuel Ferguson of Louisburg; and sister, Jackie Allen of Garner.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Vincent Wood (Donna) of Louisburg; daughter, Bonnie Lynne Person (Brad) of Louisburg; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Cook of Rolesville, Mae Finch of Wake Forest, Peggy Brantley (Ricky) of Middlesex; sister-in-law, Merle Fergerson; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, from 2-4 p.m. at the home of Bonnie and Brad Person, 101 Riverbend Circle Louisburg, NC 27549
