LOUISBURG, NC--Alma Ray Spencer Hudson, 83, of Louisburg died Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

She was born on January 26, 1941, to the late Andrew Harris Spencer Sr. and Eunice Wrenn Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew Harris Spencer, Jr., and Robert Wrenn Spencer; her sister, Linda Loftin, and her longtime partner, Donald L. Gupton.

Alma is survived by her daughters, Angela Ray Hudson Ward (L.S.), Rhonda May Hudson Harris (Fred), Wendy Leigh Hudson Southall (Jarrett); seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 1-1:45 p.m., Monday, March 4, at Maple Springs Baptist Church, where funeral services were held at 2 p.m., with the Reverend Jason Havens officiating. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Alma Ray's name to Maple Springs Baptist Church.
