JOHNEY F. REYNOLDS


WINSTON-SALEM - Johney Franklin Reynolds, 82, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Crestview Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Otis Hurst officiating. Enbombment was in Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with military rites provided by the VFW Memorial Honor Guard and Masonic graveside rites provided by the Salem Masonic Lodge.

He was born in Talmo, Ga., a son of the late Claude and Minnie Hendrix Reynolds. He was a retired employee of 33 years with McLean Trucking Co. and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines, having served in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Pacific area during World War II. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Reynolds.

Surviving: daughters, Dianna Carter (Mark) of Youngsville, Debbie Bunker (Tony) of Clemmons, and Kathy Link (Bill) of Dover, Pa.; sons, Johnny F. Reynolds Jr. (Melanie) of Burlington and Richard Reynolds (Susan) of Lewisville; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
