LOUISBURG, NC -- Patsy Williams Murphy, 74, of Louisburg passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 8, 2024 at her home. She was born in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Hubert and Geneva Carter Williams.

In addition to her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wheless Murphy, to whom she was married for 50 years; three brothers, Rodger Bishop, Hugh Williams and Jackie Bishop; one sister, Lucy Jenkins; and her mother and father-in-law, Garvis and Wilma Murphy.

Survivors are her two children, Doug Murphy (Ashly) of Virginia and Geneva Murphy (Tabatha Ray) of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
