Wayne Martin Walker Jr., age 56, died July 5, 2024 at Granville Medical Center in Oxford, NC.

Wayne was born on April 26, 1968 in Alexandria, VA to Linda Jones-McMahan and the late Wayne Martin Walker Sr. . In addition to his father, Wayne was predeceased by his stepfather, Dallas Jones.

Wayne is survived by his wife Tonya Harris Walker; daughters, Courtney Buchanan (TJ) and Madison Walker; two grandchildren; his brothers, Gabriel Jones (Carla), Rocky Jones, Colton Jones (Cindy), and Matthew Walker; his sister, Jennifer Gentry (BJ); a nephew and a niece.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Franklinton Baptist Church. The family received friends following the service.
