Henderson, NC--Funeral services for Samuel Lee "Sammy" Alston, age 69, who died on Monday, September 16, 2024, will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.

Born September 1, 1955, he is survived by two daughters, Samantha Alston of Henderson, NC, Tyffany Alston of Manson, NC; his father, Rev. Napoleon Walker (Annie) of Franklinton, NC; two sisters, Brenda Wilkins (Silas) and Joyce Williams, both of Louisburg, NC; three brothers, James Alston of Savannah, GA, Clarence Walker (Angela) of Franklinton, NC, Matthew Walker of Zebulon, NC; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6 - 7 p.m., Monday at Richardson Funeral Home.
