ZEBULON, NC -- Funeral services for Evelyn Richardson Steward, age 72, who died on Sunday, June 22, 2025, will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 12 p.m. at the Gillfield Missionary Baptist Church in Hollister with Pastor Melvin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gillfield Church Cemetery.

Born on June 26, 1952, she is survived by her husband, Joshua Steward of the home; one daughter, Cassandra Trinity Anderson (Stephen) of Raleigh, NC; six sisters, Shirley Bush of Washington, DC, Marilyn Johnson of Detroit, MI, Brenda Bennett of Raleigh, NC, Bobbie Richardson of Louisburg, NC, Linda Cannaday of Greensboro, NC, Dorothy Johnson (Everette) of Durham, NC; three brothers, Alton Richardson (Beverly) and Matthew Richardson (Betty), both of Castalia, NC, Marvin Richardson (Sandy) of Greensboro, NC; and two grandsons.

There will be a viewing Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Gillfield Missionary Baptist Church.
