Warrenton, NC -- Funeral services for Phillip "Phil" Evans, age 74, who died on Saturday, August 9, 2025, will be held on Friday, August 15, at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Warrenton with Pastor Willie D. Silver officiating. Burial will follow in the new Mt. Bethel Church Cemetery.

Born Dec. 7, 1950, Phil is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Simmons (Kenneth) of Rocky Mount, NC, Katrina Mills (Jason) of Hollister, NC; one son, Phillip Bradley Evans of the home; one sister, Deanna Richardson (Bobby) of Nashville, NC; two brothers, Elliott Evans (Iris Gail) of Warrenton, NC, Winfred Evans of Hollister, NC; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 14, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
