FRANKLINTON, NC - Funeral services for James Melvin McCrimmon, 85, who died Sept. 8, 2025 will be held Monday, Sept. 15, at Union Chapel AME Zion Church.

The Rev. Christopher Jones will officiate. The Rev. Dock M. Fuller will serve as eulogist.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bennie McCrimmon Jr.

He is survived by one brother, Joseph McCrimmon (Elizabeth); one nephew and one niece; two great nephews and nieces; sister-in-law, brother-in-law; and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
