Castalia, NC -- Services for Lorenzo Thorne, age 86, who died on Friday, December 12, 2025 will be held on Friday, December 19, at 2 p.m. from the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, in Nashville, NC, Rev. Sidney Dunston officiating.

Born July 28, 1939, he is survived by his wife of the home, Maggie R. Thorne, daughters, Marquette Sadler (Danny) of Grimesland, NC, and LaShawn Willoughby (Stuart) of Rocky Mount, NC, and 4 grandchildren.

Viewing will held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, NC.
