Joyce Redmond Perdue, born on September 21, 1948, passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 77.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin P. Redmond and Elizabeth Nadine Redmond. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Ray Perdue and her brother Robert Glenn Redmond.

She is survived by her son, Donald Stuart Perdue; a grandaughter Danielle Nicole Perdue; a great-grandaughter Macy May Jewell; and her faithful and caring partner, Milton R. Hardison all of Wilmington NC; her brothers: Frank Redmond (Toba) of Phoenix AZ, and Phil Redmond (Rita) of Nashville TN; her sister Becky Vasquez (Ralph) of Louisburg NC, and her siblings gained through marriage Betty Jo Redmond and Thomas Perdue, both of Louisburg, and Judy Perdue and Robert Cassell, both of Raleigh NC.

She was a successful beautician for over 50 years and touched many heads and many hearts with her talent, humor and kindness.

A private interment will be held at Lancaster Memorial Park in Louisburg, NC, January 10, 2026 at 12 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Joyful Disciples Sunday School Class at Temple Baptist Church located in Wilmington, NC.
