ZEBULON – Ollie Glen “Jim” Brown Jr., 76, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 17) at Cove Baptist Church in Woodbury, Ga., with burial following in the church cemetery.

He was born March 20, 1931 in Meriwether, County, Ga., a son of O.G. “Twitty” Brown Sr. and Julia Ann Long Brown.

Survivors include his stepmother, Cora Brown of Woodbury, Ga.; his wife, Sue McDaniel Brown of Zebulon; three daughters, Deborah Joyce Brown Presley (Charles) of Manchester, Ga., Doris Lillian Brown Slaughter (Bob) of Shiloh, Ga., and Deidre Lynn Brown Taylor (Kenneth) of Cedar Springs, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Karen Neely Duck (Bill) of Midland, Ga., and Becky Neely Massey of Manchester, Ga.; a sister, Gloria Swanson Crews of Manchester, Ga.; a stepsister, Melissa Anne Brown McInvale (James) of Woodbury, Ga.; a brother, Terry Dale Brown (Patricia) of Virginia Beach, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
