FRANKLINTON - Kenneth Griffin Christian, 57, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 5) at Calvary Baptist Church, with Dr. Ron Cumbie and the Rev. James West officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

He owned and operated the Doc C. Christian Oil Co. After retiring, he was employed with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry Walston Real Estate Company as a Realtor.

Christian was preceded in death by his father, Donald Carr Christian.

Surviving: his wife, Gail Thompson Christian; his mother, Dorothy Griffin Christian of Durham; daughters, Laura C. Dempsey (Sam) of Wake Forest, Carly C. Lantz (Todd) of Raleigh; two brothers, Steve Christian (Debbie) and Don J. Christian (Brenda); and one grandson.

Flowers are acceptable.
