KITTRELL - Leonard H. Askew, 77, of Kittrell, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008, in Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Askew family cemetery.

Surviving: brother, Newell Askew and wife, Kathy of Henderson; nieces, Lucille P. Winstead and husband, James of Kittrell, Doris P. Oglesby and husband, Ed of Morehead City, NC; nephews, Newell Aykew, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Kittrell, Matthew Askew and wife, Sherry of Kittrell, and Dave Askew and wife, Lisa of Henderson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, and at all other times at the home of Lucille Winstead, 572 Wiley Hawkins Road, Kittrell, NC.
