CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Godfrey Carlton Pulley, 68, of Chesapeake, Va., fomerly of Franklinton, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church cemetery in Franklinton.

He was born in Spring Hope and was a construction worker.

Surviving: a daughter and son, both of Raleigh; sisters, Jessie Taylor (Martin) of Seaside, Calif., and Madge Taylor of Chesapeake, Va.; brothers, Harold Pulley and Michael Pulley of North Carolina; and several grandchildren.

Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
