LOUISBURG - Tyler Nathaniel Gower, 13, died Thursday, May 1, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 5, at New Hope Worship Center Church of God. Burial followed in the Nipper family cemetery.

He was a student at Bunn Middle School.

Surviving: parents, Rebecca Nipper Jamason and Franklin Nathaniel Gower; sister, Cresta Williams; maternal grandparents, Maeve Steele and Raymond Nipper; paternal grandparents, Margaret and Bill VanBuren; several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the family at 80 Nipper Lane, Louisburg, to offset funeral costs.
