RALEIGH - Roger Joseph Dunbar Sr., 74, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at Rex Healthcare. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Monday, May 5, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Cary. Burial followed at Raleigh Memorial Park.

Surviving: his wife, Catherine P. Dunbar; children, Pam D. Jefferys of Selma, Debbie D. Ferket (Peter) of Raleigh, Cheryle D. Cotton (Stanley) of Duncan, Denise D. Watson of Clayton, Roger Joseph Dunbar Jr. (Joanie) of Louisburg, Linda L. Padgett of Coats, Teresa Allen (Ken) of Angier, and Vickie Williams (Johnny) of Raleigh; sister, Peggy D. Woodruff of Mount Airy; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
