TIMOTHY PARKER JR.


FRANKLINTON - Timothy “JR” Parker Jr., 28, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 in Bennettsville, S. C., as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 3, at First Agape Baptist Community of Hope, Alexandria, Va., with the Rev. Dr. Daniel L. Brown officiating. Interment was in the Parker Cemetery in Wilton, N. C.

Born in Newport News, Va., he was the son of Serene and Timothy Parker Sr. He attended Robert H. Hall Elementary, Gildersleeve Middle School, and Menchville High School. Later in life, he earned an Associate degree in economics from Rappahannock Community College and became certified in auto body repair painting and finishing, carpenter’s skill trade and electrical repair.

Surviving: his father, Timothy Parker Sr.; mother, Serene Cowans; grandmothers, Earlene Hunt and Shirley W. Cheeseman; sisters, Renelda (Timothy) Damron and Ashley Webb; four nieces; two nephews; and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins.
