ELISTINE W. ALLEN
November 30, 1921 – April 26, 2010
LOUISBURG – Elistine Wester Allen, 88, of the White Level Community, died Monday morning.

Mrs. Allen was a daughter of the late Joseph Clyde and Sadie Gupton Wester. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Edward Allen; son, Kenneth Allen; sisters, Ruth Weldon, Catherine Shearin, Margaret Swanson, Mary Twitty and Delphia Wester; brother, Millard Wester.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White Level Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her son, Leon Allen of Raleigh; sister, Annie Gupton; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Dorothy Wester; sister-in-law, Kitty Rose Wester, all of Louisburg; grandson, Mark Allen; great-granddaughters, Taylor and Brooke Allen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Youth Fund, 2400 White Level Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
