SPRING HOPE, NC--Mrs. April Hodge Mullen, 70, of Spring Hope passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home. She was born on June 24, 1954, in Franklin County, NC to the late Bloies and Marie Goodwin Hodge.

Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Elna Alston Edgerton, age 87, who died on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, will be held 2 p.m., Monday, July 29, from the Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Castalia with Pastor Sylvester White officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Rock Church Cemetery.

LOUISBURG, NC--Jimmy Sidney Strickland, 80, of Louisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

Jimmy was the son of the late Sidney Oliver Strickland and Lillian Pearce Strickland Moody.

CREEDMOOR, NC -- John Earl Perry Sr., of Creedmoor, age 83, died July 9, 2024. John was born on July 4, 1941, to the late Leroy and Carrie Perry in Franklinton, NC.

Franklinton, NC--Funeral services for Raymond "Smooth Groove" Cooke, Jr., age 45, who died on Monday, July 15, 2024, will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 12 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Elder Shelton Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooke Family Cemetery.
