KITTY ROSE WESTER

LOUISBURG – Kitty Rose Wester, 83, died Monday morning, July 11, 2011. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. Don McGinnis and Rev. Bill Haley officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

She was the daughter of the late Zeb Vance and Kitty Pitchford Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Wester; sisters, Florence Thompson and Justine Bolton; brother, Edmond Neal. She was a beautician for more than 60 years and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Surviving: daughter, Jewel (Tracy) Richards; son, Vann (Jill) Wester, all of Louisburg; brothers, Bill Neal of Warrenton, Glenn (Hannah) Neal of Fayetteville, four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 111 Laurel Mill Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends 7 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.
