YVONNE BRODIE MORGAN
FRANKLINTON —Yvonne Brodie Morgan, 56, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 1, at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Walter S. Taylor officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Nancy Taborn Brodie. She attended public school in Granville County and received a diploma from Vance-Granville Community College as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan, and one brother, Jerome Taborn.

Surviving: daughters, Cathy Morgan (Charles) and Gloria Morgan, both of Franklinton; son, James A. Morgan (Christy) of Louisburg; companion, Johnny Morgan of the home; father, John Brodie (Christy) of Georgia; sisters, Queen Yarborough (John) of Henderson, Clementine Taylor of Kittrell, Eva Mae Howard (Randolph) of Kittrell and Angela Brodie of Oxford; brothers, Willie Lawrence (Tomeka) of Kittrell, Bernard Taborn (Wanda) of Oxford, and Donald Taborn (Ella) of Franklinton; and five grandchildren.

Arrangements by Cutchins Funeral Home, Franklinton.
