Breaking News: Ex-Arts Council treasurer faces theft charges

FRANKLINTON -- Authorities took out charges this week on a man accused of stealing more than $6,700 from the Franklin County Arts Council.
Police issued a warrant this week against the Council's former treasurer, Joseph S. Baisley, alleging one count of embezzlement with an expectation of issuing five more charges, investigators said.

FRANKLINTON --Funeral services for Victoria P. Williams, 96, who died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willis Teachey officiating. Burial will follow in the Manassas Church cemetery.
