PHILIP STARK INSCOE
CHESAPEAKE, VA - Philip Stark Inscoe, 51, died July 11, 2006 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Phil was born in Roseboro, North Carolina on January 18, 1955. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, Virginia Tech and Christopher Newport University. He was most recently employed by ValueOptions, Inc. as a business systems analyst and was a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship.

Phil was predeceased by his grandparents, Philip R. and Josephine W. Inscoe of Castalia. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth G. Inscoe; his parents, Philip G. and Anne S. Inscoe of Youngsville; two sisters, Emily I. Turnage of Wake Forest, and Jerrianne I. Harvey and her husband, Rob, of Wake Forest; two uncles, Grady C. Inscoe and his wife, Barbara, of Castalia, and Jim T. Inscoe and his wife, Elmore, of Montgomery, Alabama; a great-aunt, Anne B. Inscoe of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a great-uncle, Hiram J. Sessoms of Sebastian, Florida; his mother- and father-in-law, William H. and Jane S. Guy of Hampton, Virginia; a brother-in-law, William H. Guy and his wife, Ellen of Piedmont, California; a sister-in-law, Mary G. Janney and her husband, Doug, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; eight nieces, one nephew, and other cherished relatives and friends.

Phil lived this life well. He is irreplaceable and will be forever loved.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 5045 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
