HAROLD K. CLINE
MOORESVILLE- Harold King Cline, 86, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville. Funeral services were Thursday, May 7, at Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Mooresville, with the Rev. Rob Fuquay and the Rev. Andrea Smith officiating. Burial was in Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, with military rites.

He was born in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Parks L. Cline and Ruth Propst Cline. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII. He was a high school teacher and coach, worked for Horace Mann Insurance and also for Neil Medical Group.

Surviving: his wife, Helen Sloop Cline; children, Stan Osteen (Barbara) of Davidson, Donald Cline of Hartford, Tenn., and Ronnie Exware (Beverly) of Youngsville; brothers, Leonard Cline of Sun City Center, Fla., and Kenneth Cline of Concord; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 575 Brawley School Road, Mooresville, NC 28117.
