BENJAMIN FRANKLIN HOLDEN
YOUNGSVILLE - Benjamin Franklin Holden, 93, passed away Monday, August 24, 2009 at Rex Hospital. He was born September 2, 1916 in Youngsville, the son of the late Maidie Allen Holden and Steven Franklin Holden. Mr. Holden was a graduate of the North Carolina School for the Deaf in Morganton, NC; he was a lifetime resident of Youngsville and a member of Oak Level Christian Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon, August 27, 2009 at Oak Level Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Oak Level Christian Church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 to 2:45 Thursday afternoon at the church.

Mr. Holden is survived by his sister Mary Lillian Holden Wrenn and her husband Claude Lee Wrenn Jr. of Youngsville; nephews C.L. Wrenn, III of Youngsville; Ronnie Wrenn of Wendell; niece, Mary Iva Wrenn Nunnery of Fayetteville; great-nieces and nephews, Nicole Hanson and Brandon Hanson of Youngsville; Allison Nunnery of Holly Springs; William Nunnery of Fayetteville; Amy Bailey Capps of Zirconia, NC; Maria Bailey Williams of Fuquay and Nicholas Bailey of New York. He is preceded in death by nieces Charlotte W. Bailey and Connie Wrenn Hanson.
