FRED G. “F.G.” SINCLAIR JR.
RALEIGH - Fred G. “F.G.” Sinclair Jr., 79, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at City of Oaks. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 2) at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service chapel, with Dr. Ed Handkins officiating. Burial will follow in Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, with military honors.

He was born in Sampson County to the late Fred Sinclair and Lucy Andrew Sinclair. He served his country in the U. S. Navy and worked for 28 years with the maintenance section of the Wake County Public Schools before retiring.

Surviving: sons, Randy Sinclair (Jan) of Youngsville, Freddie Sinclair (Deborah) of Clayton, Kenny Sinclair of Youngsville; sisters, Elease S. Page of Raleigh, Lois S. Smith of Laurinburg; brother, Walter Sinclair of Wilson; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Avis Jean Lamm Sinclair, and a granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3800 Hillcrest Drive, Raleigh, NC 27610.
