LOUISBURG – Brooks Warren Wynne, 47, of Louisburg, died Saturday at his home after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home.
Brooks is survived by his wife, Julie D. Wynne; daughter, Reba Martin; son and daughter in-law, Jason and Stacey Wynne; mother, Joyce Anderson; father and stepmother, Charles and Betty Wynne; sisters and brothers-in-law, Myra and Ronnie Wood, all of Louisburg, Dianne and Ed Drew of Daytona Beach, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Kim Wynne of Ashland, VA, David and Dottie Wynne of Louisburg; 1 grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the home immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Brooks W. Wynne Memorial Fund, c/o First Citizens Bank, P.O. Box 359, Louisburg, NC 27549.
