CLARENCE H. “CHICK” WILSON
FRANKLINTON - Clarence Hinton “Chick” Wilson, 85, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006 in Franklin Regional Medical Center, Louisburg. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Sept. 4, in the Franklin Funeral Service chapel in Franklinton, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial with military honors followed in Fairview Cemetery.

He was the son of the late Clarence Wilson and Bertha Webb Wilson. He was retired from the finishing department at Wake Finishing Plant in Wake Forest. Mr. Wilson served during World War II as a member of the Military Police in the Army Air Corps.

Surviving: his adopted family, Ruffin L. and Ila M. Johnson, William Samuel Johnson, Timmy and Vickey Johnson, Russel Barbour and Samantha Taylor, all of Franklinton.
