JANE W. WILLIAMSON
CASTALIA – Jane Woodlief Wilder Williamson, 73, of Castalia, formerly of Franklinton and Henderson, NC, passed away on September 12 at her home.

She was a retired educator in the Franklinton City and Vance County school systems, having received an A.A. degree from Louisburg College, a B.A. degree from N.C. State University and a Masters degree from Appalachian State University.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, Isaac Hubert Williamson; six children and their spouses, Gordon and Pam Wilder of Henderson, Betty Ann and Don Dickerson of Hillsborough, Sarah and Lanny Puckett of Creedmoor, Sam and Tashia Wilder of Franklinton, Paul Wilder of Apex, and Kate Wilder and Fritz Kern of Hillsborough, as well as six grandchildren. She is also survived by three stepchildren; Mitchell and Dale Williamson of Winterville, Jeffrey and Lorie Williamson of Greenville, and Tammy and Wesley Croom of Stonewall, as well as nine step-grandchildren.

Visitation was at Strickland Funeral Home (103 W. Franklin St.) in Louisburg, NC from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15. The family will also be receiving visits at the home (5070 Highway 56E, Louisburg) at other times. Funeral services will be held at Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church (894 Perry’s Chapel Church Road) in Franklinton, NC at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, with a graveside service in the church cemetery.
