DONNA “DEE” RAY
WAKE FOREST-Donna “Dee” Ray, 56, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at Wake Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17,  in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virginia Dees officiating.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of Josephine Tart Dean and Roy R. Dean Jr. She was a veteran of the US Army National Guard.

Surviving: husband Harvey Ray of Wake Forest; stepson, Shane Ray (fiancée Charity Walters) of Wake Forest; mother Josephine Tart Brewster of Yanceyville; father Roy Dean, Jr. (Glenda) of Raleigh; sisters Julia Dean of Zebulon, Tracie Clayton, Hurdle Mills; stepsister, Angie Parrish of Wendell; brothers, Jimmy Dean of Columbia, SC, Kenneth Dean of Rougemont, Richard Dean of Creedmoor; six nieces; and four nephews.

Friends may visit with the family following the service at the home of Theresa O’Neal.
