ETHEL D. MAY
FRANKLINTON - Ethel Dickerson May, 84, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006 in a Louisburg nursing facility. Graveside services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 5, in Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of James William Dickerson and Pearl Mitchell Dickerson. Mrs. May was a homemaker and the widow of Stanford May.

She was preceded in death by a brother, J. W. Dickerson Jr.

Surviving: daughters, Deborah (Richard) Gill of Franklinton and Betty Jo May of Louisburg; sons, Ernest (Betty Jean) May and Rudy May, all of Louisburg, and Richard (Amy) May of Youngsville; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Arrangements handled by Franklin Funeral Service and Cremation, Franklinton.
