SUE R. PHILLIPS
YOUNGSVILLE - Sue Raybon Phillips, 91, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1581 Bethlehem Church Road, Youngsville. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County to the late Vance R. Raybon, Sr. and Tessie Mitchell Raybon. She was a graduate of Rolesville High School in 1936 with the school’s first graduating class where she maintained a perfect attendance record. She was an independent Stanley dealer for years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Marshall Phillips, and by her parents, six brothers, and two sisters.

Surviving: daughter, Bettie P. Parrish (Jesse); son, Howard Vance Phillips; four grandchildren  and five great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund.

Friends may visit with the family immediately following the entombment service on Thursday at the church; and at the home of Bettie and Jesse Parrish, 1532 Bethlehem Church Road, Youngsville, at other times.
