AILEEN P. MEDLIN
RALEIGH - Aileen Pipkin Medlin, 94, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 in Chattanooga, Tenn. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Jan. 29) at Inwood Baptist Church, 3700 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County and graduated from Cary High School. She retired from First Citizens Bank with 33 years of service in the key punch/data center. She was married to the late Larkin W. Medlin.

Surviving: son, Tommy Medlin (Carolyn) of Youngsville; daughter, Peggy M. Horne (Rick) of Lookout Mountain, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters, Carol Hardee, Marilyn Wadford and Barbara M. Montague.
