ZEBULON - Lynn Weeks Halstead, 53, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Milton, N.Y.
She was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to Joseph Charles Weeks Sr. and the late Sally Marie Tubbs Weeks. She will be remembered as the “Ice Cream Lady” of Middlesex Pharmacy, where she had worked for the past six years.
Surviving: husband, Jim Halstead; father, Joe Weeks of Highland, N.Y.; stepchildren, Jesse Halstead of Milton, N.Y., Jolene Nahlik of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; brothers, Joseph Weeks and David Weeks, both of New Paltz, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA of Wake County, Raleigh, NC or Cause for Paws, Zebulon, NC.
