JEANETTE M. GUIN
LOUISBURG – Jeanette Massengill Guin, 79, died Sunday morning, May 22, 2011. Funeral service was held Tuesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Talley and the Rev. Joel Story officiating. Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.

She was a daughter of the late John Braxton and Martha Ellen Hockaday Massengill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waylon L. Guin; daughter, Alice G. Denton; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and several sisters and brothers.

Surviving: daughters Debra G. Finch of Waverly, Va., Teresa G. (Randy) Mullen of Bunn, Regina G. (Glenn) McMullen of Louisburg; sons, Sherill (Jo) Guin of Coats, Johnny (Debra) Guin of Wake Forest; sisters, Myrtle Lee of High Point, Elaine Lee of Benson, Golda Dockery of Trinity and Brenda Hayes of Benson; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Franklin County Relay for Life, 2857 White Level Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
