CECIL LEE BELL
ROLESVILLE - Cecil Lee Bell, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at his home. A graveside memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Williams family cemetery on Pulley Town Road, Rolesville. In the event of inclement weather, services will be held at New Life Church, 6900 Zebulon Road, Wake Forest.

He was born in Franklin County to Jerman and Mancy Perry Bell. He was a World War II veteran and received a Purple Heart among other medals. He spent most of his career as an automotive parts manager.

Surviving: niece, Nelda Hodge Rose and Ronnie (caregivers); five other nieces and seven nephews; 27 great-nieces and nephews; 40 great-great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-great-nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; a brother, Staley; sister, Marjorie B. Williams.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Life Church, P. O. Box 459, Rolesville, NC 27571 for a memorial brick with his name to be placed in the church prayer garden, or to 3HC Hospice, 723 3rd Street, Suite C, Smithfield, NC 27577.
