KATHLEEN W. PEOPLES
FRANKLINTON —Kathleen Wright Peoples, 85, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, with the Rev. David Averette and Danny Leonard officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late James Dewey and Annie Hayes Wright and the widow of Joseph Charlie “Joe Bill” Peoples. She was a member of Franklinton Baptist Church and a retired employee of Burlington Mills.

Surviving: sons, Robert Earl Peoples (Belinda) of Louisburg and Joseph Alan Peoples (Harriett) of Tryon; brother, Thomas E. Wright (Faye) of Louisburg; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Stone, and a brother, J. D. Wright.
