THOMAS B. CARLYLE
ZEBULON -  Thomas Burl Carlyle, 68, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Spring Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church. Visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial, Gethsemane.

A native of Bunn, he was the son of the late Burl Thomas and Glatha Puckett Carlyle. He worked for many years with Asplund Tree Service, as well as with Lowe’s Home Improvements.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Curtis, Delbert and Darnell Carlyle, Dorris Driver, Dorothy and Bethie Carlyle.

Surviving: wife, Ronnie Ray; children, Tommy Glenn Carlyle (Amy) of Hallmarket, Va., Robin Carlyle of Bailey, Donna Tucker (Amos) of Kenly; siblings, Mamie Fowler of Bailey, Betty Bunn and Vianna Bailey of Zebulon, Irene Horton of Louisburg, Beulah Ethridge (Thomas) of Wilson, Glennann Langley of Dunn, Chester (Betty) Curalee and Coy Carlyle of Zebulon, Izel Carlyle of Rockingham; and eight grandchildren.
