DAPHINE C. WEST
June 11, 1925 – August 23, 2011
LOUISBURG – Daphine Cash West, 86, of Louisburg, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday morning.

Mrs. West was a daughter of the late Columbus Gardner and Emma Burnette Cash, and was preceded in death by her sister, Estelle Johnson, and brother, Odell Cash. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the Lillie West Missionary Circle.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. West is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Lloyd A. West; sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Sarah West of Roanoke, VA; Kenny and Jackie West of Emerald Isle; grandchildren, Ashley Call and husband, Jason; Jason Arthur and wife, Sarah; Jaclyn West; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund, 4160 NC Hwy. 561, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.
